Minimalism is the key to this project. Most shots are captured with only one light source. Sometimes I will bring in a second light for a dramatic effect. Add a simple black background and a model and you are ready to create some art. I do not include any heads in this project because it is not about who the model is, but more about the look of their body. It also makes it easier to acquire models and frees up the time needed for hair and makeup.

You never know what you are going to get with each person. The human figure comes in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. These landscape images can find beauty in all body types; from flexible dancers to plus sized models. Each body tells its own story, and it is always exciting to see what you end up with. On some people it is their necks, others their backs, legs, or shoulders. You just never know.

Every shoot always ends up having what I call "wall shots". Something you would not have a problem framing up and hanging on the wall. Many models have done just that, being able to display a nude of yourself that is artistic but also not overly revealing.
